Focal Australia Extended Manufacturer’s Warranty Terms & Conditions

(For passive loudspeakers purchased in Australia)

1. About this extension on Manufacturer’s Warranty

Thank you for choosing Focal. When you buy eligible Focal passive loudspeakers from an authorised Australian dealer, you can receive an additional three years of warranty by registering your product online within 3 months of purchase.

This extended warranty is absolutely free, and it’s designed to give you extra confidence and long-term support.

2. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this document limits or replaces your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Under the ACL, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. If your product has a major failure, you are entitled to a replacement or refund. If the issue is not major, you are entitled to have the goods repaired within a reasonable time. These consumer guarantees exist independently of this warranty extension.

3. Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the 3-year warranty extension:

1. Eligible Products Only

o The offer applies solely to passive Focal loudspeakers without built-in electronics.

o Only models listed below as part of the extended manufacturer’s warranty program are eligible for this program.

2. Purchased in Australia

o The product must be bought new from an authorised Focal dealer located in Australia.

o Grey-market, parallel-import, private-sale, second-hand, ex-demo or refurbished units are not eligible.

3. Registration Deadline

o If you purchased your Focal product after 1 April 2026, you must register your product within 3 months (90 days) of the purchase date. If you purchased your Focal product between 1 April 2025 and 31 March 2026, you must register your product by 30 September 2026.

4. Accurate Information

o The information you submit (purchase date, dealer, price, product reference, serial number) must match the details on your purchase invoice.

4. How to Register

1. Visit our online registration page.

2. Provide the requested information, including proof of purchase.

3. Once validated, we’ll email you confirmation of your 3-year warranty extension.

5. What the Extended Warranty Covers

This extended manufacturer’s warranty applies to:

· Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship

· Repair or replacement of defective components

· Labour costs associated with repairs carried out by authorised service centres

Repairs or replacements will be performed using new or refurbished parts of equivalent quality.

6. What’s Not Covered

The extended warranty does not cover:

· Damage caused by misuse, neglect, incorrect installation or accidents

· Damage due to unauthorised modifications or repairs

· Cosmetic damage that does not affect performance

· Normal wear and tear

· Damage caused by power surges, lightning, moisture or environmental conditions

· Products with altered, removed or unreadable serial numbers

· Shipping damage after the initial purchase (claims should be made with the carrier)

7. How to Make a Claim

If you experience an issue:

1. Contact your authorised Focal dealer.

2. Provide your proof of purchase.

3. We may request photos, diagnostic details or that the product be returned for inspection.

If the problem is covered, Focal will repair or replace the product within a reasonable timeframe. If repair is not practical, we may offer a replacement unit of equal or greater value.

8. Transferability

· This extended warranty applies only to the original purchaser.

· It is not transferable if the product is sold or gifted.

9. Privacy & Data Use

When you register, we collect personal information (such as your name, email and purchase details) to verify eligibility and provide warranty support. Your information is handled according to our Privacy Policy and will not be sold or shared except as required to process your warranty claim.
